LIVE SEMINARS

Q: Can I register a group even if I don't know every individual's name at this time?

A: Yes! Select the number of participants (after you've selected a seminar, looged in and confirmed your address) you would like to register. Enter as many names as you know (it's OK if you don't know any names yet). Then click "Continue". You will be charged for the full number of participants you entered and you may come back to the website up to 12 hours before the seminar to add additional participants. You may add the remaining participants by logging into the website and clicking on "Seminar Groups". The seminar for which you still need to register individuals will appear at the top of the screen.

Q: Can I register online if I’m not paying with a credit card?

A: Yes! Simply select the "Purchase Order" option when registering. Please remember to FAX a copy of the purchase order (make sure the participant name is included) to 360.397.2615 or mail to PO Box 55896, Portland, OR 97238.

Q: Where do I send payment?

A: Send all payments and correspondence to: National CEU P.O. Box 55896, Portland, OR 97238.

Q: Is lunch provided?

A: Please see the registration brochure for lunch logistics. Full brochures may be downloaded on the detail pages for each seminar.

Q: How can I obtain a receipt?

A: If you’ve paid online, you will receive a confirmation and receipt via email. If this is not sufficient, please email info@nationalceu.com to receive an original receipt. If you paid via personal check or personal credit card in advance or at the door, receipts will be available on the day of the seminar.

Q: If lunch is provided, will there be a vegetarian option for lunch?

A: Yes, we work hard to accommodate our vegetarians!

Q: Do you offer a student discount?

A: Yes. Please e-mail mstrand@nationalceu.com to obtain student discount rates. Students must present a valid student ID at registration.

Q: I need to cancel my registration. May I get a refund?

A: Cancellations received by the date printed in the brochure (3 business days prior to the seminar) qualify for a refund, less a $15 administrative fee. Substitutions may be made at any time.

Q: I can only come for half of the seminar – may I pay half of the price?

A: Due to the popularity of the National CEU seminars, we are unable to offer discounted prices. Many of our seminars have waiting lists.

Q: Who should I call with more specific questions?

Q: What type of Continuing Education Credits will be available?

A: Certificates of attendance are always offered at our seminars. Please see the seminar brochure for other CEU offerings and clock hours offered. The seminar brochure can be downloaded on the seminar detail page.

ONLINE SEMINARS

Q. Can I get continuing education or professional development credit from National CEU’s online seminars?

A. Yes. A participant will have the option to earn continuing education or professional development credits following an online seminar. Each seminar detail page outlines the agency that endorses the credit. At the end of an online seminar, you must pass an assessment quiz to print your certificate of attendance and apply for professional credits.

Q. Can I download the streaming video to my computer?

A. No. The video seminar will be hosted on a secure server. You will be able to get access to the seminar for 45 days after you have purchased an online seminar.

Q. How long do I have access to a seminar?

A. You will have access to each seminar you purchase for 45 days. During that time, you may preview a seminar as many times as you would like.

Q. What technology will I need to preview the online seminars?

A. For optimal viewing, a broadband internet connection with a minimum of 500kb/s download is recommended. Please visit the Technical Support page on the main online seminars page to conduct a test on your computer and get more details.

Q. I'm having trouble accessing my online video seminar - what should I do?

A. First, please see our Technical Support page under the Online Seminars portion of our website for detailed intructions. See table below for quick troubleshooting guide.

I'm unable to view the full video screen or slides - a portion of it is getting cut off. Optimal screen resolution setting is 1240x1024 - a minimum of 1024x768 is needed. See Technical Support page for further instructions.
The video is choppy or stops after only a few minutes and won't continue.

You may have insufficient bandwidth (need min of 500 kb/s). See Technical Support page for further instructions and to test your bandwidth.

Nothing at all happens when I click "View Online Seminar" (a separate window does not open). If you're attempting to view the seminar at a work computer, your organization may have a firewall in place that is blocking the video stream. Please ask your IT system administrator to contact support@nationalceu.com for further instructions. If you are on a home computer, disable all pop-up blockers and firewalls.
A separate window opens when I click "View Online Seminar" but the video does not play. You may not have the latest version of Flash installed. Please see Technical Support page and mouse over "Software Check" to run an instant test.
I don't want to print out all the presentation slides in full color - how can I print more than one slide per page? Please email info@nationalceu.com and we will email you the slide presentation in its original format with instructions on how to print multiple slides per page.

 

Q. I have a coupon or promotional code…how do I use it?

A. Select the seminar you wish to purchase. Click on the “Register Now” link. You will come to a shopping cart screen where you will see the seminar you wish to purchase. On the right hand side of your “Shopping Cart” there is a space for “Enter Code”. Enter your promo code in this space and then click “Update”. Your price will change to reflect the discount offered. Then click “Check Out” to continue with the purchase.

Q: How do I change my password?

A: Log in to the site using your existing password. Once you’ve logged in, you will see a “My Account” link (usually on the left side of the page). Click “My Account” and then “Change Password”. You will be prompted to enter a new password.

Q: Can I print a certificate from a previous seminar I’ve taken?

A: Absolutely! Your certificate of attendance is kept on file for every seminar you take with National CEU, provided you’ve passed the assessment quiz. Simply log in to your account and click “My Seminars”. There you will be able to see which seminars you have taken, which seminars you have access to currently (and for how much longer) and you will also have the option to view and print previous certificates.

Q: I’d like to be a presenter for National CEU – how can I apply?

A: We’re currently booking presenters by invitation or referral only. However, we are keeping applications on file. Please email your interest and vita to info@nationalceu.com

Q: Do you have group/student/corporate rates?

A: Yes! Please see the “Special Rates” section that may be accessed from the main online seminars page (green button on the left hand side of the page).

Q. Can I request certain topics?

A. National CEU strives to provide relevant educational topics to its customers. For subjects of interest, please email info@nationalceu.com to note your interest. National CEU will work towards meeting this request.

Q. Can I receive university credit for these online courses?

A. Not at this time. All credits provided are through continuing education or professional development agencies.
