National CEU

During my summer course on "Information Technology for Curriculum Design" at the University of Oregon, I was introduced to a variety of technology tools that educators at all levels should at least have an awareness of their existence.  I've posted the names and links for the tools that I found to be of the most interest (at least to me).  I hope you find some of these useful.

1) WebEx: An online tool that allows for virtual or synchronous meetings or professional development opportunities.  See http://www.webex.com/

2) Interactive Whiteboards (online):  Virtual Whiteboard is a web-based collaborative system that provides a realtime canvas of thinking, designing, and working with students and colleagues.  See http://www.virtual-whiteboard.co.uk/home.asp

3) Webspiration: An online visual thinking tool:  See http://mywebspiration.com/

4) Voice Thread: A powerful way to talk about and share your images, videos, and documents.  See http://voicethread.com/#home

5) Teacher Ease: An online grade program, lesson planning tool, collaboration center, parent communication tool, attendance recorder, and much more.  See http://www.teacherease.com/home.aspx
