Optimal Phonology Assessment: Making Sound Decisions
$89.00  - Register Now!

Seminar Description

Phonology has been a major focus of speech-language pathologists for decades; however, there have been new theoretical developments and research regarding goal selection. In this module, we consider various phonological systems, from those based on single segments to those rooted in nonlinear theory, and discuss the advantages of each system for analyzing a child’s speech production. We then discuss optimal methods for data collection and the types of analyses to perform on speech samples. Finally, we present a multi-faceted model for making informed decisions regarding whether treatment is necessary.

Seminar Availability

This seminar will be available for your online viewing (or re-viewing) for 45 days after purchase. Upon purchase, this seminar will be available to you online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
